God Lives Under My Bed

CA$10.00

This piece was adapted from a poem, and then into a performance piece. The piece follows a young boy, who has a direct gateway to the Pitt under his bed. One night while he’s musing about such things, he falls into the world of the Pitt. On his journey he meets mythical creatures that dwell in the Pitt, while also running towards and away from god ,who also lives under his bed. I wrote this poem to explore not only the many portals that seem to pop up that lead to the Pitt, but to further my understanding of how the creatures and the ecosystem interact with people. How the unfriendly and tricky quality of the Pitt may draw people in.
