Mamma Carrot

I found something deformed. Something not so insanely wrong that it’s disturbing but just wrong enough that it didn’t fit in. This was a carrot that looked like its womb had been cut open, and inside lay a raw baby carrot. This narrative was my immediate thought when discovering this creature, and because my art is the discovering and documentation of fear and experiences in the Pitt, I decided there was no other choice but to document this freak of nature. To me this carrot is a mother so I thought it only appropriate for me to elect my own mother to play a character in this photo. The reason for the blur in this photo is for my mothercarrot to stay ambiguous to my viewer. I only want you to experience the color orange and the faint outline of a figure. The story of this deformed carrot is for you to write. This is a photograph taken on a digital camera.
